Double’s is in the running for Montreal’s best burger. Its soft and gentle bun holding layers of juicy patties could make a grown man queef. If you’re planning on eating there, opt of a table instead of the bar arrangement. Unless you like a snug fit, tables are OP, as you won’t have to elbow your neighbours in the face to take a bite pf your burger.

Do they call it a smash burger because of the way it's cooked or because of how you smash it in your mouth from how good it is? In any case, this one is both. For being relatively new (ish) it is decorated as an old neighbourhood dive bar. Playing alternative rock, showing sports (mostly football right now), pool table, the decor overall, graffiti all over the entrance wall... This place is a vibe. But the real star of the show for us was the Michigan Oliive Burger. We were told why it's called that but tbh.. we forgot. But nonetheless it is wonderful. Very large, and yet we kinda wanted another one. Juicy, moist, just the right amount of light bread, lovely sauce and did we say... Very large? It's worth visiting for this burger alone.

Great dive bar atmosphere, with even better food. The burger is simple in the best way possible. They don’t overcomplicate it with a ton of toppings (patty, cheese, pickles, lettuce, Michigan sauce), nor do they make it inaccessible to picky eaters. The fries may be some of the best I’ve had at a resto. Even the dessert, which always comes with a sparkler, was great. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back. Update 4/2024: Had their chicken schnitzel, really good too.

Truly awesome smash burgers. Onion rings and poutine on point and decent wings. Honest service in all great spot. Def recommend ! If I'm being picky parking is a mess but the resto was awesome.

Loved the vibe here, great music and good people. We sat at the bar and watched hockey. Really enjoyed our convos with the staff. We ordered every item on the menu and all 10/10. Special shoutout to the poutine and mozzarella sticks.
